We believe in creating a space that brings together artists, leaders, demonstrators and families to honor traditions while creating meaningful connection.
Oklahoma is home to 39 federally recognized tribal nations. The area that became Oklahoma was once called “Indian Territory.” It became a designated land where nations would be relocated and forced to rebuild. We gather here because it’s where resilience lives and has been sustained by unbroken spirit.
This gathering will be located at OKANA Resort & Waterpark owned by the Chickasaw nation in Oklahoma City. Explore Exhibit C Gallery right next door, along with the 175,000 square foot First Americans museum (FAM) showcasing state of the art exhibitions in First American history, located in Oklahoma City’s new Horizons District.
Join us for a unique experience that highlights the importance of sharing Indigenous tradition, storytelling, cultural preservation and sharing of knowledge from artists, leaders, educators local and beyond.
